Happiest Place on Earth

We started out the month with a wonderful vacation to Disneyland. We had been planning it for a year! It was so much fun!
(despite Nate getting food poisoning!)
I was worried that Nathanial was a little young, but he LOVED it! He still talks about it daily. It was so fun to be there when it was decorated for Halloween!

Nathanial loves Toy Story, especially Buss Like-Year: as he calls him! So that is the first place we headed.

After the Buzz ride we waited in line for the Nemo Submarine Ride.
Nathanial was so tired from anticipation and excitement--we had been talking to him about Disneyland for 6 months!

We were walking through the park and ran into this crazy mouse! Nathanial was literally star struck. He kept jumping up and down (as you can see in the picture) And then along came minnie. He kept wanting to give her kisses. (what a ladies man)

Waiting for the Celebrate a Street Party to start...

By Day 5 Nathanial was exhausted!

Prepare...

Okay, I finally feel like I have a second to sit down and update my blog. Sorry it has been FOR-EVER! So I will attempt to catch up on the last 4 months!

Procrastinator...

Is it almost December already? Am I horrible at this updating stuff or what? I still need to update on Disneyland, Halloween, and my cute little potty trained boy! (woo hoo!) I think I'll wait until later though...
The two rules of procrastination: 1) Do it today. 2) Tomorrow will be today tomorrow

We are off.... AGAIN..

We are leaving today and will be back next Sunday. I don't know who's more excited, Nate or Nathanial!!

Pearl Jam

I was lucky enough to see Pearl Jam with Nate. I had surprised him with tickets for our anniversary. It was AWESOME! It was one of those nights that made me feel alive and feel gratitude for all I have. Ah, live music. Must get more of this into my life.

Homemade JAM

Me and my mom drove an hour to Payson and picked 21 pounds (22 if you count the pound I ate while picking) of raspberries!! We made some really yummy jam with it! I LOVE raspberries.

MM..MM...MELONS!

In September the fragrance of fresh cantaloupe, watermelon, and honeydew fills the air in Green River, Utah.

Each year they celebrate the harvest with Melon Days the third weekend of September. This small-town(by small I mean 1000 people) event features a parade and fair, plenty of music, square dancing(yes-i said square dancing) a canoe race, and thousands of pounds of melons! My dad is from Green River, so each year we try and make it to it. It is so fun!!! Especially now that we have a child and can "help" him get lots of candy at the parade!!

Dancing with the cheerleaders!
