Each year they celebrate the harvest with Melon Days the third weekend of September. This small-town(by small I mean 1000 people) event features a parade and fair, plenty of music, square dancing(yes-i said square dancing) a canoe race, and thousands of pounds of melons! My dad is from Green River, so each year we try and make it to it. It is so fun!!! Especially now that we have a child and can "help" him get lots of candy at the parade!!

Your family is so cute! Man Nathanial is getting so big! He looked like he had tons of fun at melon days! He looks so much like Nate! I hope you guys had fun in Diseny Land!
