3. How long did you date? Long story, we first went on a date in June of 2004... we played games with each other for a while. Okay... a LONG while. We would date other people, and find stupid reason to text and talk. So, finally we got our act together and got hitched...
4. How old is he? 27
5. Who eats more? Depends... if its ice cream, candy or cake, than I DO! But just eating all around, well... I think it might be a tie! haha
6. Who said "I Love You" first? Nate did! I went to visit him when he was selling pest control in California. When I was leaving at the airport he told me he loved me!
7. Who is taller? Nate is! 5'11 3/4" (can't forget the 3/4...Nate sure doesn't) haha
8. Who sings better? He does... I am tone deaf!
9. Who is smarter? I think it's a tie... okay I'm lying. Nate is!
10. Who does the laundry? We both do. Or we are both good at washing and drying the clothes, but we both HATE folding!

13. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? He does!
14. Who cooks dinner? Most of the time me. He does all the BBQ stuff. YUM

18. Who asked who out first? It was kinda set up. By our parents. We doubled with my brother
19. Who proposed? We were driving home from California and he said, "I think we should get married." I didn't say anything for about 2 minutes... Nate was so nervous. HAHA. But of course I said , "I think we should get married too." He later formally propsed!
20. Who has more friends? Probably a tie

22. Who has more siblings?Nate does. 5 kids in my family. 2 kids in his (and 4 half siblings)
23. Who wears the pants? I would say I do, but he would say... I do too! haha
24. Is he handy around the house? Oh yes!
25. His hobbies or favorite activities: his new favorite one is golf! He loves sports: especially baseball! And he loves to spend time with family

And of course a few reasons why I love this man...There are so many... he is so sweet, kind and loving. He has always treated me so well, and is always there for me. I love his smile, dark hair and long eyelashes. One of the many reasons why I married him is because of his hair ! haha He is a very hard worker. He never gives up; he is honest, funny and always makes me laugh. He knows exactly what to say and what to do when I am sad or having a bad day. He has an amazing testimony, and knows so much about the Gospel. I learn so much through him, and the incredible man that he is. He is such a great example; I have walked in on him kneeling at our bed. I am so thankful for such a strong, spiritual husband. I really don't know what I would do with out him. There is so much more... but for now... I love you Nate! Thank you for being so amazing in every way! You are my best friend...

My little Gardner..

SYTYCD

Results tonight!!

It's going to be between these two....

In my opinion, the other 3 can’t touch Brandon in technique, or versatility. He just doesn't seem to have the personality!! Jeanine danced amazing, there is just something about her that bugs me....not sure what it is

A History Lesson for you..

Deep down I'm a huge history buff. Sorry if you are asleep by the time you finish this..

For memorial day we spent time with Nate's family at Camp Floyd in Fairfield.

About 1856-1857 there were many rumors about a Mormon uprising that were circulating around Washington D.C. The Mormons had been driven out of the East by the persecution and they went west finally settling in Salt Lake in 1847. Then 10 years later there were rumors of a Mormon uprising in the West. President Buchanan sent an army of 3500 men to put an end to the rebellion. A detachment of that size represented nearly one third of the US Army at that time. When the army arrived in June of 1858 they found no rebellion or anything close and so they went south-west of Salt Lake City to Cedar Valley to set up camp. They found a stream and set up camp on the south side of the stream.

They picked their spot and then proceeded to build a camp and by November of 1858 they had constructed 400 buildings. At that time Camp Floyd, as it was named for Secretary of War John B. Floyd, was the largest single concentration of troops in the United States.

The army left in 1861 when it was recalled to the East because of the outbreak of the Civil War. Secretary of War Floyd resigned in December of 1860 and Camp Floyd was renamed Fort Crittenden. However, Fort Crittenden was abandoned in July of 1861. The buildings and equipment were sold, destroyed, abandoned or used for building materials. Within two months after the Army's leaving only 18 families remained in Fairfield. The street in front of the Stagecoach Inn was once called saloon street and there were 17 Saloons along that street.

The Stagecoach Inn is still there and has been restored. The Pony Express operated from April 1860 to October 1861 and the route went through Fairfield and the Stagecoach Inn was a stop for the riders

Random shots of touring all the sites.... err... Nathanial and Nate bored out of their minds!

HUH?...Wait... run that by me again..

Easter

Enjoying a little Easter fun before going out of town.

For Easter we all went to my aunt Regi's house in Monroe. We had a really good time.

Kj's cute fiance, Michelle.

Every Easter at Regi's we have a huge egg hunt. The adults all put money in some eggs, and candy in others. Nathanial got way more money than candy. I think he got about $60 in his 12 eggs. To say he was upset is an understatement!! HAHA.

Random...

Finally giving in and getting Nathanial a fish. He named it Oscar.
(from Shark Tale)

Baking with mom. Nathanial INSISTS on helping me cook

Nathanial wanted uncle Jordan to take a bath with him!
I love that my little Nathanial is so cuddly. He loves to give hugs and kisses.

In February, our precious boy turned two! For his party we had a BUS theme. For some reason, he has this obsession with busses. It is so cute. Strange, but cute. When we are in the car, he spots busses coming from blocks away!
